Indigenous Storyteller Showcase

Judy Everson

I’m an Indigenous author and creative writer.

Proud band member of Brokenhead Ojibway Nation reserve near Winnipeg where I was born & currently residing in Calgary with my husband, children.

On my Journeys these day’s I’ve been volunteering to give back as I reside currently on the committee for the Calgary Stampede Indigenous Elbow River Camp and the Bear Clan Patrol of Winnipeg.

I’m working on my latest books & website
Eversonpublishingandbooksales.@godaddysites.com

I’ve had the opportunity to write for magazines, which includes New Tribe Magazine USAY & Native Hoop Magazine. I’m currently writing a piece on my creative writing project.

It’s about our Indigenous youth’s achievements and their goals, who inspires them.
I want to let our future leaders know how with a little hard work, sometimes more hard work you can achieve your goals and I want to give back to our Indigenous youth’s and communities.

As every Journey has a story beyond you and I what’s your story.

I’ve had the pleasure to be honored by having my story in the Say Magazine article & for my children’s book named, “Little One Discovers His Calling One Feather At A Time.”
As you seen, read in the Say Magazine.

My Indigenous culture has been always what has grounded me thru ceremony pow wows & gatherings which has taught me to honor thy Elder & mother earth & other’s, to believe in our culture and become who I am today with the help from our beloved Elders and Knowledge Keeper’s, my parent’s thru out my Journeys with my family. My Indigenous community, culture means the world to me and my family as I pass on the story telling abilities to my children, youth & children to enjoy.
